Lee Delights Ottawa Fans

Rocker Tommy Lee blasted into town Monday, arriving fashionably late at the Tila Tequila club in the Byward Market where he played DJ for a delighted capacity crowd of fans.

Lee, who is on tour with DJ Aero on the pair's Electro Mayhem Tour, took to the stage around 11:30 p.m. and pumped out "dirty electro house music" for more than two hours.

The delirious crowd of about 450 people in the club watched as the 45-year-old former drummer with Mötley Crüe and ex-husband of Pamela Anderson jumped frantically around the makeshift stage as he spun records.

It didn't take long for Lee to settle into a groove as he worked the turntable console, occasionally taking sips from a liquor bottle and smiling to the women in the front rows. He removed his T-shirt and exposed his tattooed body and even lit up a cigarette as fans cheered him on by chanting "Tommy Tommy."

Tommy Lee and DJ Aero were to play a second show at the club last night. They will be in Montreal tomorrow night.
